This Little Light of Mine...I'm Gonna Let It Shine
Can I tell you how good it feels to be doing regular gigs again around town?
I can try, but words don't seem to accurately describe the wonderful feelings of excitement, joy, and energy swirling around in my body right now.
So here's me "showing you" that feeling with this clip of a song I recently performed with my ukulele duo partner Kenneth Fowler at McGonigel's Mucky Duck in Houston (they recently restarted their Open Mic Night--Mondays from 6pm to 9pm)!
After our 3-song set, the manager came up and asked if we'd like to do a full 90-minute show there sometime! (Umm, yes! :D)
The venue is one of the most iconic in Houston and has terrific sound/video. Let me know if you'd like to receive updates when we select a date!
In addition to performing live, I have been thoroughly enjoying virtual collaborations for the past couple of years, and especially my work creating ukulele song tutorials (and lending my voice to other's tutorials on occasion) for the ukulele site RockClass101.com.
